My Internet Marketing Journey Begins

OK, so maybe you’re wondering, how could my internet marketing journey begin today if I’ve already been at it for years?

The thing is, to answer this properly I need to step back in time a little.

I first got started with the idea of making money online around about 2010 but I’d absolutely no idea of how I was going to achieve this!

I had loads of false starts, buying cheap (and sometimes quite expensive) information products that never seemed to work for me. I don’t know why but there always seemed to be something missing… as if there was a part they simply were not revealing!

I feel a little embarrassed to admit it but I literally wasted years trawling the Warrior Forum and watching tons of instructional videos that all seemed to promise the push button riches I so desperately wanted for myself!

People in the know tried warning me that there was no such thing as get rich quick, push button riches, but of course you have to learn by your own mistakes… My Granddad once told me “it’s a good man who can learn by his own mistakes but it’s an even better man who can learn by others”

The Big Change! Or Was It?

In 2014 I came across a product called Quick Start Challenge 2.0 TURBO. It seemed like it may be worth a look even though I hadn’t heard of Dean Holland. Now, I’m not saying my life turned around there and then. In fact, far from it. However, Dean seemed like he knew what he was talking about and he came across as an honest guy. He had been through the mill and I felt like he was someone I could relate to.

It was about ten months later I decided to join Dean as an Ipro Partner. I don’t want to go into this programme in any depth, just to say it was a partnership with Dean who showed me a way of making money without having to create my own products… Just what I needed, or so I thought!

Problem was, I still hadn’t got rid of the bright shiny object syndrome. You know the one! You find it impossible to ignore all the push button promises that flood your email inbox day after day. Against all the warnings it wasn’t long before I’d moved onto the next best thing! I don’t know if you can relate to this vicious circle but it’s a bit like being on a carousel and you just can’t seem to get off! And so it went on!

Going Full Circle!

It must have been late in 2017 I finally made a conscious decision to ditch everything else and concentrate on one thing. Stay focused and get rid of all the noise from my inbox. Honestly, I can’t tell you how good it feels to unsubscribe from all the promotions you get day after day!

Earlier this year I got on a programme with Dean called Kickstart. He showed me exactly what he would do if he had to start from scratch with no email list and using only the things that were available to me. This course ran for about eight weeks and we spent one hour per day watching what Dean was doing (a sort of “over the shoulder” video each day), then spent one hour each day implementing what he’d shown me… Pretty impressive!

In May that year, 2018, I decided to join Dean on a twelve month VIP coaching class. This was something quite special. Once a week one on one coaching from Dean with unlimited access to him. Learning from the best…

Just to bring this into perspective for you. Dean spoke on stage to over three thousand people at Funnel Hacking Live 2018. Russell Brunson, owner of Clickfunnels described the funnels that Dean has built as the ultimate funnel… I would have been a fool not to have taken Dean up on this offer!

Where To Go From Here!

My aim is to post on my blog each week with anything that I believe may help you to achieve your goals. Anything I’ve managed to pick up I’ll post on here and perhaps include a link if it is a video or some other piece of information I think could help.

If you’d  like me to let you know when I’ve put a new post on my blog you can get on my email list by clicking on the banner below. You will only receive emails from me that I feel will be helpful to you. Maybe you’d like to take a look at The Iceberg Effect book too? Either way, please call back regularly and keep an eye out for my future posts.
